HCSD Launches Stopfinder School Bus App

(July 10, 2026) - Coming in the 2026-2027 school year: Stopfinder School Bus App ​

We are pleased to announce that starting in the upcoming school year, the Harrison County School District will launch Stopfinder, a new school bus transportation app designed to keep families better informed and connected.

Stopfinder is a secure, easy-to-use app that allows parents and guardians to:

• Know the schedule of your child’s bus
• Receive notifications related to your child’s bus schedule and any changes
• Get real-time information on when your child arrives at school or at home
• Track bus routes for multiple students
• Send and receive non-urgent messages from the HCSD Transportation Department

This new system is designed to provide families with more accurate information and improved communication regarding student transportation.

All HCSD parents will receive an email today with an invitation to download the Stopfinder app and instructions for creating an account. We look forward to bringing this enhanced service to our families!
